We highly recommend the services of Coastal Cooks, our preferred caterers delivering a wide range of quality ready-to-go holiday food boxes, expertly prepared and hand delivered to Pickwell Manor customers.

They proudly supply locally sourced Devon quality produce, catering to your breakfast, barbecue and Sunday roast needs.

Coastal Cooks also provide an on-site private chef service which is exclusively available to residents using the ballroom and snug, it's the perfect treat for group gatherings or family reunions so that you can all dine together with no stress or fuss, leaving you the time to enjoy the occasion.

Recently we’ve become quite spoilt by the growing range of takeaway vans serving delicious street food here in North Devon. Below are a few options but it’s also worth googling as they often change and you might come up with a new one.

Biffen’s Kitchen opens daily at Ocean Pitch campsite in Croyde, they do great breakfast takeaway too.

Tambapanni – This Sri Lankan street food van does alternate Saturdays at Georgeham bus stop and Friday nights at Braunton Tesco carpark find them on Facebook.

Stoned Pizza- Freshly-made stone-baked pizza 5-9pm at the beach entrance Croyde (opposite RUDA) or from their 1950s Airstream silver van in Woolacombe carpark.

Take away

For fish and chips, locally the best ones are either Squires or South Sixteen in Braunton. You can also eat in for both of these restaurants. If you forced us to pick, Squires is our absolute favourite!
